Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Perform detailed mechanical and piping design for projects and maintenance activities, primarily supporting the Decommissioning Department.
Redesign existing facility components and systems for decommissioning purposes.
Design and dimension piping systems and mechanical components in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
Produce design documents using design tools, converting them into PDF and DWG/STEP formats for customer review and delivery.
Maintain and update the Design Database and relevant plant documentation.
Collaborate closely with strength engineers, process engineers, and other disciplines to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
Conduct on-site analysis and measurements at customer facilities; partial remote work possible during CAD design phases.

What you bring:

Engineering degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Energy Technology, or a closely related field.
Proven CAD experience (e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
Good knowledge of process components such as valves, pumps, and heat exchangers.
Experience in the nuclear or process industry and familiarity with project-based work.
Strong personal attributes: accurate, analytical, creative, driven, and communicative.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and on-site when required
Fluent in English and Swedish.
