Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design and develop solutions for sheet metal components using advanced tools and methodologies.
Utilize expertise in material selection and application, specifically with steel, aluminum, and plastic.
Create and refine technical drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Collaborate on welding designs and provide input for production processes.
Work primarily on-site to ensure effective communication and close collaboration with the team.
Maintain high standards of documentation and project reporting using Microsoft Office.

What you bring:

Proven experience in sheet metal design, with a minimum of 3 years in a relevant role.
Proficiency in using Solid Edge for design and development.
Strong knowledge of materials, specifically steel, aluminum, and plastic.
Experience with welding techniques and their application in product design.
Native proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
Ability to work on-site at the supplier’s office for most of the project duration.
