Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Generate design concepts, perform redesigns, and optimize mechanical designs in collaboration with the design team.
Document mechanical solutions to ensure functionality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Communicate effectively with internal and external designers, assemblers, and project stakeholders.
Participate actively in project planning and coordination activities.
Engage in customer and supplier interactions to clarify requirements and align on technical solutions.
Conduct design calculations, perform estimations, and contribute to feasibility assessments.
Produce detailed article documentation optimizing functionality, space, accessibility, and production aspects.
Provide technical support to marketing and purchasing departments as required.

What you bring:

Civil or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a focus on precision mechanical design, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
Proficiency in Solid Edge or equivalent CAD tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Swedish citizenship is mandatory.
Must pass a Register Check and be employed by a company with an FMV security protection agreement (such as AFRY).
The assignment is on-site in Karlskoga.
