Senior Mechanical Designer - 13981

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies within the chassis domain.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers to ensure integration across systems.
Create and refine 3D models and technical drawings using 3DEXperience and/or CATIA.
Design and integrate attachments for fiberglass panels and sensors such as lidar, radar, and cameras.
Develop sheet metal parts (laser-cut and bent) and 3D printed components using in-house printing capabilities.
Contribute to the packaging and placement of components within the chassis, including cooling units and electronic modules.
Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement activities to enhance quality and manufacturability.

What you bring:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer within chassis or related areas.
Strong proficiency in 3DEXperience and/or CATIA.
Experience designing and integrating attachments for composite panels and sensor systems.
Hands-on experience with sheet metal and 3D printed part design.
Knowledge of component packaging within constrained spaces, such as cooling and electronic systems.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a cross-functional environment.
Fluent in English and Swedish.
