Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer with Expertise in Vacuum Forming Technology to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Create detailed drawings, models, and assemblies using CAD in SolidWorks.
Design and produce parts using vacuum forming technology.
Utilize knowledge of composite materials and production methods such as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) to create high-quality products.
Contribute to post-processing steps, including cutting, bonding, and assembly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure design feasibility and quality.
Travel to various locations in Europe to meet with suppliers and participate in technical discussions about tool details and logistics.

What you bring:

Good knowledge of CAD in SolidWorks for creating drawings, models, and assemblies.
Experience working with vacuum forming technology, with the ability to design and produce parts using this technique.
Strong understanding of composite materials and production methods, particularly RTM, as well as post-processing techniques.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle international relations while traveling and meeting suppliers.
Experience in creating detailed drawings, specifications, and reports documenting the design process.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
Self-driven, organized, and efficient with the ability to manage your own work.
