Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Lead mechanical design efforts for integration of electric driveline components into the chassis structure beneath the cab of BEV trucks
Drive CAD-intensive design work using CREO or equivalent tools, focused on robust and safe installations
Ensure designs meet crash safety and durability requirements for electric vehicle modules
Utilize a wide range of materials including forged components, castings, and sheet metal in design
Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from early concept and research through to product maintenance
Take ownership of a defined technical area with high complexity and ensure alignment with business targets and technical requirements
Guide and mentor others in your area of expertise and contribute to the overall competence development of the team
Collaborate across departments and international sites to secure integration, technical alignment, and progress
Act as a geometrical architect, supporting the packaging and development of large and complex CAD modules

What you bring:

Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) in customer-specific systems such as KOLA, PDM-link, and internal development processes
Expert-level skills in CREO or similar CAD software
Proven experience in design for durability, with an understanding of structural integrity in commercial vehicles
Background in passive safety design, particularly crash structures
Competence in geometrical architecture and managing the packaging of large mechanical assemblies
Hands-on experience with sheet metal and casting design
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
