Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design mechanical solutions based on defined prerequisites such as function, geometry, volume, cost, quality targets and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support mechanical design engineering activities within your technical area.
• Play an active role in project deliveries, integrating inputs from multiple contributors and ensuring quality and release readiness.
• Ensure designs meet business objectives, performance targets and technical requirements.
• Provide technical input to product and system roadmaps and contribute to future capability planning.
• Collaborate with universities and external institutes to strengthen knowledge and innovation in your domain.
• Participate in business development and drive innovation activities related to mechanical design.
• Build strong networks across the organization and contribute expertise based on component history and system understanding.
• Lead complex tasks and projects while actively supporting, coaching and developing team members.
• Serve as a role model for technical excellence, continuous learning and advanced engineering practices within the organization.

What you bring:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or technical design.
• Deep expertise in mechanical design methodologies, tools and product development processes.
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering tasks, projects and cross-functional collaborations.
• Strong T-shaped profile with broad technical understanding and specialist-level knowledge in your area.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment within a global engineering organization.
• Experience contributing to innovation, research collaboration and long-term technical development.
• Strong communication, mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to support and uplift other engineers.
• Clear understanding of how your work contributes value to the broader business and technology development organization.
