Senior Mechanical Engineer - 14800

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Drive and follow up on production-related issues and error reports for turbine components
Investigate deviations reported from internal and external production as well as from the service organization
Perform root cause analysis with support from cooling, strength, and other turbine R&D specialists
Develop concepts and detailed design solutions to address identified issues
Create and update detailed CAD models and technical drawings
Review solutions in accordance with the Product Development Process (PDP)
Update standard documentation and ensure design changes are properly documented
Collaborate closely with production and service departments to ensure effective resolution of issues

What you bring:

Civil or university degree in Mechanical Engineering
A few years of experience working as a mechanical designer (senior level not required)
Strong competence in mechanical design, CAD, and detail drawings
Ability to drive tasks independently and collaborate across functions
Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
Forward-thinking mindset with the confidence to ask questions and challenge assumptions
Strong ability to interact with production and service organizations in a structured and solution-oriented way
