Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Network Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Operate, maintain, and monitor the corporate network, focusing on Cisco devices, including switches, routers, and access points
- Configure and administer firewalls and network security measures, including rule sets and policies
- Create and manage VPN profiles for employees and external partners
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Implement and update network documentation, including network maps and configuration guides
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on network infrastructure to ensure system integrity and reliability
- Collaborate closely with other specialists to address incidents and implement network architecture improvements
- Ensure network solutions comply with company security policies and industry standards
What you bring:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Network Technician/Specialist in a Cisco environment
- Proven experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco switches and routers
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the administration of firewalls, such as Meraki/Cisco ASA or similar systems
- Experience in creating and managing VPN solutions, including remote and site-to-site configurations
- Basic understanding of network security and cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network design concepts
- Ability to utilize network performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools effectively
- Cisco certification (CCNA or higher) is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus
