Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Object & Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Manage and maintain test equipment, lab infrastructure, and test objects.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute lab and field testing of the sensor system in lab environments and on vehicles.
- Ensure proper calibration, setup, and functionality of test systems.
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols for validating performance in both controlled and real-world environments.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to ensure comprehensive evaluation of sensor behavior.
- Collaborate with test engineers, validation teams, and software and hardware developers to ensure seamless testing operations.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during testing and provide feedback to development teams.
- Maintain documentation of test procedures, results, and modifications for traceability and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in lab management, automotive testing, or validation of sensor systems.
- Experience in designing and developing test setups and evaluation environments.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle instrumentation, sensor calibration, and test object management.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle sensor technology and automotive testing methods.
- Proficiency in testing tools, automation frameworks, and data analysis software (Python, MATLAB, CANoe).
- Experience with environmental and durability testing for automotive sensors.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
