Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Optics Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Participate in the design process of optical/lens systems from concept to finished product
  • Evaluate, test, and measure optical/lens systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Generate comprehensive reports on testing outcomes and system evaluations
  • Analyze performance deviations to identify and address issues
  • Provide support to Production and Customer Support teams as needed
  • Conduct field testing to validate system performance in real-world conditions

What you bring:

  • Proficiency in optical design software such as Zemax and/or Code V
  • An engineering background with a solid understanding of optical principles
  • Knowledge of stray-light and tolerance analysis of optical systems
  • Familiarity with photographic systems and their functionalities
  • Understanding of optical components and processes, including sensors, filters, displays, photo diodes, and coatings
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English, written and spoken
  • Hands-on experience from optical lab work – Merit
