Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Optimization Expert – Network Control (Power Systems) to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Support system deliveries to customers across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
• Collaborate with Grid Management System (GMS) experts to configure and customize the optimization engine.
• Develop workflow integrations between SCADA, EMS, and GMS systems, as well as with external IT/OT systems.
• Prepare and execute test plans and validation procedures in close collaboration with customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers, working closely with internal technical teams.
• Ensure adherence to company values of safety, integrity, and quality throughout all project phases.

What you bring:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Understanding of electric power generation and transmission networks.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and their role in energy management.
• Hands-on experience in the SCADA/GMS systems domain.
• Strong understanding of industrial-scale optimization principles.
• Practical experience using commercial solvers (e.g., CPLEX).
• Proficiency in modeling languages such as AMPL.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on-site with customers when required.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Swedish is an advantage but not required.
