Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Performance & Calibration Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Lead and execute engine and EATS calibration for internal combustion engines in off-road machinery
  • Calibrate embedded software functions for engines and aftertreatment systems in line with legal and performance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with emissions legislation and feature fulfillment through systematic testing and validation
  • Support the definition and specification of hardware components, such as fuel injection equipment and turbochargers, in alignment with performance targets
  • Contribute to and follow engine and EATS verification and validation plans
  • Provide technical solutions for issues related to product maintenance and field performance
  • Drive continuous improvement in calibration methods, tools, and processes within the engine performance team
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members in engine and EATS technologies
  • Share domain expertise and support knowledge development within the team

What you bring:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in engine and aftertreatment calibration, particularly for off-road applications
  • Deep understanding of internal combustion engine systems, control software, and emissions aftertreatment technologies
  • Proven track record of delivering engine performance and calibration solutions that meet regulatory and customer requirements
  • Strong proficiency with calibration tools, diagnostic equipment, and data analysis software
  • Familiarity with hardware components like FIE systems, turbochargers, and sensors relevant to engine functions
  • Ability to interpret and apply emission legislation and certification standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to propose effective solutions in complex engineering scenarios
  • Experience contributing to validation plans and leading system-level performance evaluations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor colleagues effectively
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in engine performance development
