Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale performance test environments using Kubernetes (K8s) and AWS.
- Analyzing performance metrics and monitoring system performance to ensure quality and efficiency in a cloud-native infrastructure.
- Conducting root cause analysis of test failures, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues within the test environment.
- Collaborating closely with development, DevOps, site engineers, and other teams to evaluate performance issues and propose solutions.
- Automating installations and deployments within Kubernetes and AWS environments to streamline operations.
What You Bring:
- Advanced knowledge of Linux, with experience in managing and optimizing large-scale Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s), with a strong understanding of container orchestration and performance optimization in K8s environments.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, including setup, maintenance, and performance analysis.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C, and shell scripting to automate and manage test environments.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab, Terraform, and other automation tools for managing infrastructure and deployments.
- Collaboration skills—able to work effectively with diverse teams, including Development, DevOps, and Site Engineers, to diagnose and solve performance issues.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience in delivering SaaS solutions and working within the DevOps lifecycle.
- Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with VMware administration and virtualization environments.
- Experience with monitoring and profiling tools for performance analysis.
