Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Act as the client’s representative, championing their interests in all piping-related activities.
  • Oversee and coordinate with design contractors, ensuring priorities are met and conflicts are effectively resolved.
  • Direct and review piping designs for safety, suitability, compliance with Swedish conditions, and adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with other engineering disciplines and plant departments.
  • Collaborate with the Safety team, actively participating in HAZOP and other risk assessments.
  • Work closely with Systems Engineering to ensure the integration and functionality of all systems.

What you bring:

  • Extensive experience with large international EPCm companies.
  • Familiarity with Swedish consulting firms and their working practices.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in industrial piping design.
  • In-depth knowledge of standards such as EN 13480, EN 13445, PED, and AFS 2016:1.
  • General understanding of cooling water, steam, compressed air, and industrial gas systems.
