Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Plan Layout Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and maintain the integrated 3D plant model of the company’s demonstration facility in Oskarshamn
- Design plant structures, piping systems, and mechanical supports in accordance with industrial standards
- Optimize facility layout with respect to operations, maintenance, and safety requirements
- Coordinate design activities across disciplines and manage technical interfaces between systems
- Implement digital workflows, including MBSE, PLM, and digital twin development
- Collaborate with partners, sub-suppliers, and external stakeholders to secure integrated solutions
- Contribute to procurement processes and actively participate in design reviews
What you bring:
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Plant Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant layout and 3D modeling for greenfield facilities, preferably in energy, process industry, or nuclear projects
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD and plant design tools such as Aveva E3D, SmartPlant, or PDMS, with the ability to establish modeling standards and procedures
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary integration across civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and I&C systems, and familiarity with relevant industry standards
- Solid knowledge of digital integration, MBSE workflows, and PLM systems for multidisciplinary design and data management
- Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership abilities, technical creativity, and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish is an advantage
- Experience with digital engineering workflows, MBSE methodologies, PLM systems, digital twin development, FOAK or prototype facility design, or project management certifications (PMP, Prince2) is considered a plus
