Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design, implement, and maintain modern, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions in alignment with the organization’s long-term IT strategy.
- Support harmonization and modernization initiatives across the IT landscape by defining and implementing platform guidelines and principles.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build, document, and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust, efficient, and high-quality deployments.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance using observability tools such as DynaTrace and New Relic.
- Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure primarily within Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance.
- Work with a modern tech stack including Kubernetes, Terraform, .NET/React, SQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and related technologies.
- Contribute to creating a resilient, high-performance environment through proactive troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including the ability to support and guide teams on Azure services and operations.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Experience with modern monitoring and performance management tools such as DynaTrace and New Relic.
- Familiarity with development frameworks and technologies such as .NET, React, SQL, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural goals and scalability considerations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured, goal-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- A proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
