Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Power Electronics Consultant to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Contribute technical expertise to the development, verification, and industrialization of power modules and electric drive systems.
- Collaborate closely with electrification, battery, charging, and powertrain teams to develop next-generation vehicle systems.
- Perform analysis, dimensioning, and simulation of power circuits and components.
- Prepare requirements and technical documentation for suppliers and internal development teams.
- Support test and verification activities to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
- Evaluate and integrate new semiconductor technologies such as SiC and GaN.
- Ensure compliance with requirements for safety, EMC, thermal management, and durability.
What you bring:
- Master’s degree (MSc) or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or a similar field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics development.
- Strong background in design, testing, and analysis of power components (IGBT, MOSFET, SiC, GaN).
- Knowledge of powertrains, motor control, and high-voltage systems for electric vehicles.
- Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools such as PLECS, LTspice, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with EMC, thermal analysis, protection circuits, and robustness design.
- Understanding of safety and automotive electronics standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
- Experience in supplier collaboration, requirements management, and technical documentation.
Meritorious:
- Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with heavy vehicles.
- Background in inverter or DC/DC converter development for EVs.
- Knowledge of battery systems, charging infrastructure, and energy management (HV/LV).
- Familiarity with HIL/SIL testing and test automation.
- Swedish language skills are an advantage, but not required.
