Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Product Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Translate market-adapted and technical requirements into efficient and viable solution combinations within the product model.
- Maintain, validate, and enhance the product configuration model to ensure accuracy, consistency, and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align configuration logic, product costs, and quotation content.
- Contribute to product development projects as a key representative for product modularization and configuration.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance model quality, efficiency, and usability.
- Support internal stakeholders by ensuring that configuration tools and models meet evolving business and technical needs.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as an engineer with a strong understanding of how technical and commercial requirements interact in a product data model.
- Ability to structure, analyze, and translate complex technical data into configurable product solutions.
- Experience in product configuration, project management, or technical sales.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach to work.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage effectively across teams.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; experience as a technical editor is an advantage.
- A proactive mindset with the motivation to drive projects from concept to completion and continuously improve processes.
