Senior Project Manager – Carbon Capture Plant Construction - 11646

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Carbon Capture Plant Construction to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

Lead the design and construction of a carbon dioxide capture plant
Manage cooperation and contract follow-up with the supplier responsible for the design and construction
Collaborate with other project organizations on planning, execution, reporting, and strategy
Ensure compliance with the FIDIC Yellow Book contract form and manage contractual obligations
Work independently to drive the project toward key milestones and deliverables
Report to the technical project manager and project steering group as needed
Oversee cost monitoring, risk assessment, and schedule adherence
Support procurement and design activities through supplier engagement and contract negotiations
Lead the client team for the separation plant and ensure seamless collaboration with all stakeholders
Balance on-site presence (5 days per week) with remote work opportunities when feasible
Travel as required during the design and procurement phase

What You Bring:

15+ years of experience in project management within the process industry or energy sector
Proven leadership in large-scale projects (contract value >500 MSEK) within the last five years
Strong ability to lead both consultants and employees in complex, multidisciplinary environments
Extensive experience in contract management, with knowledge of collaborative contracts and FIDIC contract forms
Fluency in Swedish and a very good level of English, both spoken and written
Relevant MSc or higher degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Availability for part-time engagement from February 2025, transitioning to full-time during the year
Willingness to travel as needed during the design and procurement phase
B driving license
