What you will work on:

• Lead and drive the engineering team in switchgear projects for power grid substations ranging from 10–400 kV
• Ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets, and schedules
• Manage engineering coordination with customers, subcontractors, and internal/external partners
• Plan and allocate engineering resources according to company governance procedures
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders
• Identify risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation plans and improvements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and project execution

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in switchgear design or project engineering (10–400 kV)
• Proven experience in both medium-voltage and high-voltage projects (10–400 kV)
• Hands-on experience in 400 kV projects
• Solid background in GIS (Gas Insulated Substation) projects
• Experience in tender management for switchgear projects
• Previous exposure to construction site environments is an advantage
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Full-time availability to work on-site in Västerås, Sweden
• Swedish citizenship due to security-classified project requirements
