Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Verification, Electromobility to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead, develop, and drive the test strategy and verification plan for features and functions across project phases — from early-stage testing to user acceptance.
- Ensure requirements are properly defined and translated into structured test cases and verification activities.
- Plan and coordinate test resources, including vehicles, rigs, and personnel, to ensure efficient execution.
- Collaborate closely with verification and development teams within Electromobility, as well as with other Volvo Group Truck Technology departments.
- Play a key role in the Project Management Team, ensuring quality-assured products and efficient project delivery.
- Monitor and report status, progress, and risks to the Project Manager Engineering and Complete System Management Team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes and methods within the electromobility area.
What you bring:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in product development and technical team leadership.
- Strong background in hardware and software integration within commercial vehicle development.
- Proven experience in development and verification of electrical drivelines and energy storage systems.
- Proficiency in Design Verification Plan (DVP) processes and Volvo Group IT tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership capability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in waterfall-based product development environments.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
