Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Quality Inspector / Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Plan and execute inspections of mechanical equipment at Siemens Energy facilities and supplier sites
Follow up on inspection results, ensuring timely resolution of open issues and non-conformities
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align inspection activities with technical requirements
Participate in project meetings and contribute to quality planning throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including Classification Societies, for compliance and documentation
Support quality activities during proposal and execution phases of complex Oil & Gas projects
Potentially act as Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM) for assigned projects
Travel within Sweden and Europe approximately 30–40% of the time, with Finspång as the primary location

What you bring:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in inspection of mechanical equipment
Solid knowledge of relevant standards such as PED, ASME, and structural design
Strong communication and collaboration skills with fluency in English; Swedish is a plus
High level of structure, organization, and attention to detail
Proficiency in administrative tasks and working knowledge of MS Office
Flexibility and willingness to travel, including outside regular working hours if required
Advantageous qualifications include personal certification in PED, ASME, or AWS
Additional language skills, knowledge of SAP or PLM2020, and a basic understanding of electrical engineering are considered valuable assets
Self-motivated, structured, and adaptable team player with a proactive approach to quality assurance
