Senior Quantity Surveyor - 10288

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

Assess contractor payment applications to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Manage changes effectively, including handling variations, compensation events, and change orders.
Prepare final accounts and provide support in negotiating and settling these accounts.
Assist the contract specialist with contractual claims and disputes.
Develop and manage the forecasted final account to ensure financial accuracy.
Prepare tender Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for procurement processes.
Participate in the procurement of work packages and negotiate terms.

What You Bring:

A recognized and accredited university degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Other qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Experience and expertise in Mechanical Piping, HVAC, Electrical, or related fields.
Preferred certifications include:
- Associate or Chartered status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), or demonstrable progress towards it.
- PMI Project Management Professional.
- Membership with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
- Regional quantity surveying accreditations are also welcome.
Strong understanding of change management, final account preparation, and contractual claims.
Excellent negotiation skills, with experience in settling final accounts and participating in procurement.
Ability to work on-site in Skellefteå without rotation; this is a full-time, site-based role.
