Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior R&D Test Verification and Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Create and maintain a test environment for the MACH Control System in the Test Lab, including computers, servers, input-output boards, and simulation environments.
- Develop and execute test cases and scenarios to verify functionalities of the control system, such as communication, analog, and digital acquisitions.
- Report test execution results to the development team and provide actionable feedback for improvements.
- Maintain hardware and software in the lab to ensure readiness for current and future testing needs.
- Automate tests wherever possible using the test automation framework.
- Take shared responsibility for lab operations, including maintenance, license management, and customer support.
- Uphold safety, integrity, and accountability while collaborating effectively with colleagues and contributing to team objectives.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded system development or testing.
- ISTQB certification and knowledge of software and/or hardware testing is an advantage.
- Proficiency in graphical programming tools such as Hidraw, MACH platform, or scripting languages.
- Experience with measurement instruments, test automation frameworks, Microsoft OS, SQL, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in at least one tool: LTspice, MATLAB Simulink, or LabVIEW.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader understanding of system functionality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating leadership and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Fluency in English; Swedish is a plus.
