Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Contribute to the development of advanced, simulation-driven software for a world-leading client in the transport industry
Engage in daily pair or mob programming sessions and collaborative refinement of new features
Develop, deploy, and validate code on both simulations and real vehicles
Participate in daily stand-ups, weekly goal-setting, and bi-weekly retrospectives to ensure continuous team alignment and improvement
Work across the stack, with opportunities to contribute to both backend and frontend components

What you bring:

Extensive experience in Scala or another functional programming language with readiness to work in Scala
Familiarity with streaming data architectures and tools such as Pekko or Akka
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile team while being comfortable working independently
Exposure to or interest in full-stack development, particularly React and web gRPC
Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset rooted in curiosity, learning, and innovation
Experience with or interest in working with technologies such as GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments
Solid understanding of automated testing, observability, and secure development practices
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Proficiency in English
