Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior PLC Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design, develop, and maintain PLC software solutions for advanced crane automation systems
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
Optimize software for performance, reliability, and safety in line with industry standards
Analyze system specifications and hardware schematics to ensure technical alignment with project objectives
Identify and address potential technical issues, proposing improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency
Perform thorough testing and validation of PLC code to ensure accuracy, compliance, and robustness
Debug and resolve issues identified during development and testing phases
Communicate project progress, risks, and potential delays effectively to stakeholders and project leads

What you bring:

Engineering degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
Proven hands-on experience with Codesys and/or C programming for PLC development
Strong skills in algorithm design and optimization to support high-performance and responsive automation solutions
Ability to work in a structured and self-organized manner, with a strong focus on documentation and task management
Familiarity with PLC development tools and a solid understanding of crane automation functionality
Previous experience in product development and iterative development processes is an advantage
Proficient in both English and Swedish at a professional working level
Understanding of project lifecycle with demonstrated competencies in project planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and quality control
Willingness to contribute within a diverse and collaborative environment, aligned with the client’s values of care, courage, curiosity, and collaboration
