Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Site HSE&S Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Assist the HSE Manager in maintaining high HSE&S standards on the construction site through proactive planning and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the HSE&S team to implement systematic approaches as outlined in site-specific HSE&S documents, focusing on preventive measures.
- Contribute to the establishment of provisional safety rules for construction, ensuring the safety of temporary site facilities.
- Update and revise HSE&S documentation as necessary.
- Actively engage on-site to guide personnel on HSE&S matters and ensure compliance with safety regulations, culture, and policies.
- Maintain the incident reporting system and manage statistics related to incident reports.
- Control relevant certificates and driving licenses for personnel on site.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and conduct introductory training courses for staff.
- Perform regular inspections of the construction site and provide HSE&S support as needed.
- Conduct weekly HSE&S inspections with various contractors and deliver HSE&S presentations and training sessions.
- Conduct Safety Job Analysis in collaboration with contractors and subcontractors.
- Update the Work Environment Plan and other guidelines as needed throughout the project.
- Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assist in conducting investigations of incidents, ensuring follow-up on mitigating actions.
- Develop and execute HSE&S campaigns focused on site safety initiatives.
- Support and participate in emergency exercises.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the HSE&S Manager.
What you bring:
- A B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience or 7 years of relevant work experience in HSE&S.
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in Technical English writing.
- Knowledge of Swedish legislation, site requirements, and client specifications.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to safety and risk management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
