Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Configuration Manager to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Tune and configure complex software to include the correct components, ensuring project features are delivered as expected.
- Deliver production-ready software and associated documentation on schedule.
- Provide first-line support for project software issues and participate in early project phases.
- Develop and maintain tools within the software tool chain.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Handle technical complexity issues and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Share knowledge and act as a trainer or coach to peers, fostering a culture of lifelong learning.
- Build a broader T-shaped profile by deepening expertise while collaborating across the wider Group network.
What you bring:
- Strong can-do attitude, learning mindset, and ability to drive tasks to completion.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 6–10 years of experience in software development with advanced knowledge of:
- Version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Atlassian tools: Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
- Scripting tools, preferably Python or MATLAB
- Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and software tool chains.
- Experience in embedded software engineering and automotive technology.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a global organization with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
