Assignment Description
We are seeking an experienced System Developer to join a cross-functional team responsible for a business-critical customer communication and distribution platform within the insurance sector.
What You Will Work On
- Develop and maintain templates for customer communications and document generation
- Program and enhance complex document templates with scripting and scenario-based logic
- Work with data selection, extraction, and verification processes
- Interpret business requirements and design solutions within the existing architecture
- Develop, maintain, and optimize database solutions
- Perform testing and quality assurance before production deployment
- Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions
- Support production environments and ongoing maintenance activities
- Collaborate with external vendors regarding support, operations, and system enhancements
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the team
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices
- Support end-to-end delivery from requirements analysis through deployment and operations
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
- Strong experience with SQL development and database programming
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
- Experience with large-scale data processing and complex technical environments
- Experience with data warehouse management and data integration
- Experience developing solutions using:
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or similar methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
