Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer Test Automation (Apple CarPlay & Android Auto) to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design and execute automated and manual test cases based on product specifications and quality requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure efficient and accurate testing of automotive products.
- Perform manual tests on car simulation rigs and test vehicles, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliable results.
- Identify and document defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution and tracking using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Work closely with internal software development teams, including developers, testers, and quality assurance engineers, to integrate automated testing into the development pipeline.
- Set up and maintain test environments, including simulation rigs and test cars, ensuring proper configurations for various test scenarios.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks to optimize test coverage and efficiency.
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience writing automated test scripts in Python, with a strong understanding of its testing libraries and frameworks.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Linux environment, including command-line operations and managing test environments.
- Previous experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Driver’s License, required for operating test vehicles during manual testing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documenting test cases and reporting defects.
Meritorious:
- Experience in automotive testing, including simulation rigs and test cars.
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development cycle.
