Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Develop and maintain the company’s Buildkite CI strategy and infrastructure
- Scale Buildkite agent environments supporting large engineering organizations
- Manage self-hosted CI agents across Linux, macOS, and Windows platforms
- Build and improve pipeline templates, plugins, and automation frameworks
- Develop infrastructure for provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management of CI agents
- Optimize CI pipelines for large-scale monorepos and complex software environments
- Improve developer experience through automation and standardization
- Support migration to modern CI capabilities and workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create a reliable and scalable CI platform
- Drive continuous improvements within development processes and tooling
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience building and implementing large-scale software systems
- Strong software engineering background
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments and scripting
- Experience working with Java and Python
- Experience with Docker and container-based environments
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, HTTP, and system integration
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
