Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer – Verification & Validation to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Plan, execute, and document verification and validation activities in accordance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
Perform testing across multiple levels, from individual components to complete systems, in both HIL/VIL environments and real vehicles.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality, functionality, and performance requirements are met.
Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of test methods and product quality.
Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results in compliance with ASPICE and customer standards.
Support the integration of new tools and methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.

What you bring:

Extensive experience as a senior software test engineer within the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge in both component-level and system-level validation.
ISTQB certification or equivalent expertise in software test strategies, planning, and methodologies.
Solid understanding of ASPICE processes and their application in automotive testing environments.
Previous hands-on experience working within VCC test and validation frameworks.
Valid Swedish driver’s license (B).
Proficiency in using key testing tools, including:
CAN tools: CANoe, CANalyzer
Test development: vTestStudio
Requirement and traceability: SystemWeaver
Documentation and issue tracking: JIRA, Confluence
Product data management: TCe (Teamcenter)
Calibration and measurement: ETAS INCA
Debugging and trace analysis: Lauterbach
Vehicle communication and diagnostics: Carcom
Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and advisory abilities, fostering effective teamwork across functions
