Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Manage strategic sourcing initiatives with a focus on cost reduction and value creation
- Develop and implement commodity and segment strategies within your area of responsibility
- Negotiate supplier contracts and coordinate integration plans with internal stakeholders
- Monitor market trends and dynamics impacting material and service availability and pricing
- Collaborate with internal clients to identify sourcing requirements and define service levels
- Analyze buyer and market profiles to align procurement strategies with organizational goals
- Drive strategic purchasing activities, including digitalization and sustainability initiatives
- Lead and manage large-scale projects or end-to-end procurement processes independently
- Coach and delegate tasks to junior professionals, providing guidance and oversight
- Address complex sourcing challenges requiring advanced problem-solving and critical thinking
What you bring:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Strong understanding of market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply chain dynamics
- Experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies across diverse commodities
- Ability to manage complex projects and processes with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring or guiding junior team members
- Familiarity with driving transformation initiatives in procurement, including digitalization and sustainability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with a proactive and structured approach to problem-solving
