Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Sub-Project Manager – Automation to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead and manage automation sub-projects within major infrastructure and energy projects.
- Ensure project delivery within set goals for time, scope, quality, and budget, following the customer’s investment process.
- Manage and coordinate sub-project team members, suppliers, and contractors.
- Develop and assess technical solutions based on customer needs, ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications, request for proposals, and participate in procurement processes.
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resource plans for automation projects.
- Identify and mitigate project and EHS risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Report progress to project owners, steering groups, and the PMO leadership team.
- Facilitate coordination and communication between internal and external stakeholders.
What you bring:
- 5-10 years of experience in automation, preferably in industrial environments.
- Expertise in DCS systems such as ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS7, or T3000.
- Experience in procurement and investment calculations.
- Background in the energy sector, combined heat and power, heavy process industries, or similar industrial operations.
- Strong ability to define requirements for object lists, functional descriptions, and technical documentation.
- Proven ability to verify and validate system deliveries against specifications.
- Structured, driven, and communicative mindset with a strategic perspective.
- Commercial acumen and experience managing stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Ability to balance high-level project oversight with technical detail when needed.
