Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Substation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Ensure technical compliance for medium and low voltage switchgear, power transformers, and control systems in ordered substations.
- Collaborate closely with the project manager and suppliers, conducting continuous reviews of design and construction phases.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) to ensure final compliance with technical requirements.
- Provide technical support and coordination with contractors on site, including discussions with the DSO regarding relay protection settings and communication solutions.
- Oversee and review documentation at various stages of the project to ensure alignment with technical standards.
- Lead the handover process of substations to service providers, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Review and validate relay protection settings provided by substation consultants.
- Manage the routine for labeling plant components and ensuring proper identification.
- Take responsibility for communication and coordination with the DSO.
- Conduct quality reviews of the substation’s electrical design to meet project standards.
What You Bring:
- Strong technical expertise in substation design, switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
- Proven ability to ensure compliance with technical requirements across suppliers and projects.
- Experience in reviewing technical documentation and ensuring alignment with project standards.
- Familiarity with FAT processes and hands-on involvement in factory compliance reviews.
- Expertise in relay protection settings and coordination with contractors and DSOs.
- Proficiency in managing communication and technical coordination with external stakeholders, including DSOs.
- Experience in quality control for electrical design.
- Proficiency in Swedish for seamless communication in a local project environment.
