Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Qualify suppliers and assess their manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions using methodologies such as 8D and 5 Why.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier processes and capabilities to ensure high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance performance, optimize efficiency, and reduce overall costs.
- Engage in frequent business travel to conduct on-site supplier evaluations and strengthen supplier relationships.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with strong analytical and technical skills.
- Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of production processes.
- Previous experience in a managerial or project management role is an advantage.
- Expertise in machining, including cutting machining and related special processes, is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working with international suppliers and a strong understanding of cultural differences in business environments.
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, with the ability to engage effectively with global and national stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to connect design, production, and purchasing processes.
- A proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong commitment to achieving goals and fostering positive collaborations.
