Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Qualify suppliers and their manufacturing processes for both new and existing products.
- Analyze root causes of quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions using structured methodologies such as 8D and 5 Why.
- Continuously develop and improve supplier processes and capabilities to meet quality and performance targets.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is maximized while maintaining the lowest total cost across the supply chain.
- Conduct regular business travel to meet with suppliers and support development through on-site evaluations and audits.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field, with a strong foundation in quality, analysis, and technical processes.
- Extensive work experience in manufacturing industries, with a broad understanding of various operational roles.
- Previous experience in managerial or project management roles is considered an asset.
- Strong background or hands-on experience in machining processes, particularly cutting machining and related special processes, is highly valued.
- Experience in working with international contacts, providing a strong awareness of cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
- Proficiency in both English and Swedish, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in speech and writing across all levels.
- Genuine passion for technology and quality, combined with strategic thinking and an understanding of cross-functional collaboration between departments such as design, production, and procurement.
- High level of commitment and a positive, proactive attitude when engaging with colleagues and partners to ensure goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
