Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator – Linux-Based Environments with IT Security Focus to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Perform system administration, operation, and management of Linux-based systems, ensuring compliance with IT security requirements and confidentiality standards (OSL 2009:400).
• Handle updates for components such as HPE VMware vSphere, vSAN, Clavister and OPNsense firewall, DNS, NTP, Elastic Stack log server, Ubuntu server, and more.
• Manage and maintain internal system documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and comprehensive.
• Administer applications and constituent components, working closely with application providers to manage updates, patches, and troubleshooting.
• Set up and maintain monitoring systems, security logging, and backup solutions for servers and network components.
• Assist with the integration of new components and applications, providing analysis and redesign when needed.
• Oversee the administration of user accounts and authorization management for various applications.
• Collaborate on interconnection with external environments, ensuring security and operational efficiency.
• Provide troubleshooting support for system and network issues and ensure the implementation of IT security solutions when necessary.

What you bring:

• At least 2 years of documented experience in system administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems, with a focus on IT security requirements (OSL 2009:400, ch. 15 or 18).
• Strong experience with SELinux and virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in security logging, backup management, and operation monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of network traffic management and protocols.
• Experience with automated configuration management tools, such as Puppet.
• Expertise in authentication solutions and ensuring the confidentiality of protected information.
• Experience in system administration during operations and in implementing IT security solutions in systems or services.
• Swedish citizenship is required for this position.
• Ability to work with remote system administration and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
