Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Define, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to final delivery
- Lead the development and documentation of complete and testable system specifications for both hardware and software components
- Design and contribute to system architecture in collaboration with cross-functional development teams
- Analyze technical specifications for automotive electronic anti-collision systems, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality criteria
- Interact closely with software and hardware teams to align on technical requirements during all development phases
- Track and monitor changes to requirements, ensuring traceability and version control
- Support lab and vehicle testing phases by ensuring test coverage and verification of requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards with a long-term perspective on system quality and reliability
What you bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in requirements engineering and systems engineering within the automotive industry
- Strong background in system and function development, with proven ability to define, break down, and document requirements clearly and systematically
- Hands-on experience in CAN, automotive Ethernet, and related vehicle communication protocols
- Solid understanding and practical experience with FMEA and functional safety standards, including ISO 26262
- Proven track record of working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers across various phases of the product development lifecycle
- Familiarity with all major development phases, including requirement management, system architecture, software design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical teams
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for professional communication and documentation
