Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager – Automation Projects to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Lead the development phase of automation projects focused on customized crane systems for ports
Provide technical input, cost estimates, and delivery details to support sales proposals
Assist the main project manager with technical reviews and customer discussions
Prepare work plans, resource requirements, engineering calculations, proposals, and risk assessments
Coach junior engineers and provide guidance to support teams
Ensure customer satisfaction through active dialogue and professional service delivery
Collaborate with engineering colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices across teams
Manage delivery projects with clear deadlines in a high-paced environment
Travel to end customers worldwide on a limited basis to support project delivery and discussions

What you bring:

Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent, preferably in electronics, engineering physics, or computer science
Experience in software design or development, particularly industrial automation PLC (IEC 61131-3)
Strong background in technical project management, engineering methods, processes, documentation, and tools
High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies
Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, both written and spoken
Ability to build effective relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Flexibility to work primarily onsite in Västerås with some international travel
