Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks for web and desktop applications
Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Conduct exploratory testing and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
Review system architecture and designs to build effective automation strategies and mitigate risks
Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate with development teams for timely resolutions
Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, processes, and practices in an agile environment
Support quality assurance in a hybrid working model with 3 days onsite in Ludvika, Västerås, or Göteborg

What you bring

Proven hands-on experience in quality assurance for both web-based and desktop software
Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, SOAPUI, Cypress, or similar
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or TypeScript
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategy, and QA best practices
Experience working with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, NX, or Polarion is a plus
ISTQB or equivalent certification is an advantage
Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is considered a merit
Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
