Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Drive the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript) and Selenium (Java)
- Automate both UI and API testing, including validation of files and reports from FTP locations and UI portals
- Utilize Postman or Insomnia and Swagger for API testing and integration
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift and Jenkins, including setup of namespaces and pipeline configuration
- Participate in defining testing and automation strategies within an agile test team
- Ensure all testing activities comply with security and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a high-quality user experience on a new savings platform
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks from scratch
What you bring:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks including Playwright, Selenium, Postman, and Swagger
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript for writing robust automated tests
- Demonstrated experience in building test automation frameworks from the ground up
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and the unique testing challenges it presents
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Working knowledge of frontend testing with technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with SQL and testing of relational databases
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
