Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Define verification criteria for features, functions, and field tests to ensure technical test requirements are met through simulation, rig, and physical vehicle testing.
• Plan, prepare, and execute feature testing such as performance, fuel consumption, wind resistance, soiling, climate, durability, and noise testing.
• Define function test targets and verification requirements, ensuring clear alignment with project objectives.
• Develop strategies for field tests, including managing customer relationships and introducing new technologies in real-world environments.
• Identify verification needs, create test plans, and ensure accurate execution and analysis of results.
• Analyze test outcomes, compile engineering reports (ERs), and manage fault reports.
• Continuously improve and update test methods and technical requirements in collaboration with technology teams.
• Develop and deploy test strategies and methods for new transport solutions, supporting global implementation across markets and sites.
• Act as the technical expert and go-to person for test engineering, mentoring and training less experienced engineers.
• Contribute to project roadmaps and strategies, linking test engineering work to overall business and technology development goals.

What you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in test engineering, verification, and validation within the automotive or transport industry.
• Proven expertise in feature, function, or field testing methodologies.
• Strong ability to plan, lead, and execute tests across simulation, rig, and vehicle environments.
• Solid understanding of test strategy development, technical documentation, and engineering reporting.
• Recognized subject matter expert and mentor with broad technical competence or deep domain specialization.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management within complex engineering organizations.
• Proactive, structured, and capable of linking test engineering to strategic business value
