Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Participate in research and development of cutting-edge test equipment, test methodologies and test environments for 3GPP-based communication.
- Contribute to expansion within mission-critical and time-critical communication, including MCX and related technologies.
- Strengthen testing activities in accordance with GCF requirements and certification processes.
- Perform technical testing, test execution, evaluation and development of test methods within ongoing research projects.
- Develop and test User Equipment (UE) against NCCOM requirements and other relevant standards.
- Act as a technical expert in research applications and support proposal work with domain knowledge.
- Transfer knowledge continuously to personnel to strengthen internal capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with development teams across Gothenburg and the Borås test track to deliver high-quality test solutions.
What you bring:
- A BSc or MSc in a relevant technical field, or equivalent post-secondary education.
- At least 2 years of documented experience in areas directly relevant to connectivity, communication systems or cybersecurity testing.
- Strong programming skills applied in test automation.
- Solid understanding of test planning, execution, evaluation and reporting.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, and the ability to understand Swedish.
- A valid Swedish B driving license.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to take responsibility for driving work to completion.
- Detailed technical knowledge of MCPTT and mission-critical communication (meriting).
- Experience in cybersecurity for connected systems and understanding of 3GPP standards (meriting).
- Experience in testing and evaluating requirements against MCPTT KPIs (meriting).
- Experience in User Equipment (UE) testing and test management within Agile ways of working (meriting)
