Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Environment Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Requirement Capture & Analysis: Understand project requirements, define “done” criteria, and ensure appropriate STP, space, and solutions are in place.
- Requirement Consolidation: Order necessary hardware, optimize existing equipment for cost-efficiency, track delivery schedules, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Database Update: Ensure accurate and consistent updates to hardware and software information in relevant CMDBs, and clean up databases when hardware is removed.
- STP Configuration: Ensure all nodes, components, and IP interfaces are operational. Monitor for any alarms, configure Netconf/RCM files, and enable core network connections.
- UE & Simulator Attach: Manage UE and UE simulators, ensuring they are connected, configured, and operational with no internal alarms. Verify IP connectivity and functionality.
- Verification: Run acceptance tests, verify end-to-end setups, and ensure they meet the “definition of done” before handover.
- Support: Address support requests based on SLAs, ensure STPs are available to users, and coordinate to resolve impediments in a timely manner.
What you bring:
- Proven expertise in RAN Configuration (4G/LTE).
- Experience with UE (User Equipment) Windows Control PCs and simulators like E500/TM500, Ltesim, UCtool (v1 & v2).
- Strong knowledge of IP network connectivity between eNB, gNB, and simulators/tools.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and IT service basics.
- Analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to manage stakeholder communication and provide timely updates on platforms like JIRA/TDK.
- English language proficiency is sufficient for this assignment.
