Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Manager – Verification & Validation to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead, develop, and drive the test strategy and plan within product changes and projects.
- Participate early in change reviews to define the required test scope and plan testing activities across development phases.
- Perform practical testing, follow-up, and re-testing of product changes.
- Collaborate closely with Verification & Validation (V&V) teams, development teams, Group Truck Technology and Group IT.
- Analyze test results to prioritize issues and ensure the right teams are addressed for resolution.
- Create and maintain relevant test plans for each change, covering early phase testing through user acceptance testing.
- Prepare and coordinate test equipment such as rigs and vehicles.
- Collaborate with other commodity test managers to define responsibilities and coverage across testing activities.
- Drive improvements in verification processes, including process enhancements and softcar testing.
What you bring:
- University degree in engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in End-to-End testing or similar, with knowledge of tools such as Selenium and Python.
- Strong understanding of total offering impact versus test results.
- Domain knowledge of OEM connected services, telematics, transport industry, and end-customer processes.
- Experience with mobile (connected) applications is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Team player with a positive mindset, customer-oriented attitude, quality focus, and a proactive “can do” approach.
