Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Tester/Test Manager to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on
- Develop and maintain automated GUI tests for Platsbanken using Playwright
- Contribute to both test management and operational testing efforts
- Work in VS Code and occasionally IntelliJ, leveraging tailored libraries and plugins for test automation
- Collaborate closely with developers, scrum masters, product owners, and testers to ensure high-quality delivery
- Engage with other development and platform teams on tooling such as Git, Tekton, and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues using tools like Kibana, SQL Developer, and JMS Toolbox
- Support and mentor team members to enhance the testing capability of the development team
- Contribute to the quality culture in a complex development environment with high traffic user-facing services
What you bring
- ISTQB certified testing professional.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in testing and test automation
- Minimum 3 years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automated GUI testing with Playwright
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in autonomous agile development teams
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SCRUM methodology, including use of tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish
- Experience working in complex development environments with multiple system integrations (merit)
- Ability to define or improve test strategies and quality assurance processes (merit)
- Experience automating tests in both legacy and ongoing development projects (merit)
- Familiarity with Continuous Deployment practices and tools (merit)
- Understanding of test-driven development practices (merit)
- Availability of proprietary code repositories for review (merit)
