Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Trade & Transportation Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Plan, implement, and follow up on transportation activities to ensure efficient and high-quality transport flows.
- Create, review, and maintain accurate transport documentation in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Manage daily operational relationships with transport suppliers and execute transport plans effectively.
- Review and validate transport invoices, ensuring correct cost allocation and reporting.
- Optimize transport solutions through consolidation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support end-to-end logistics processes, including forwarding and warehouse management, in collaboration with production, planning, and purchasing teams.
- Ensure proper documentation archiving and compliance with regulations.
- Assist the responsible manager with supplier issues, quality deviations, and improvement activities.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and continuous performance improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of improved working methods and maintain accurate master data.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in transport and logistics management, preferably within an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of transport documentation requirements, regulations, and best practices.
- Analytical ability to interpret and report logistics data and performance results.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier collaboration and follow-up.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles and process control.
- Fluency in Swedish and good command of English (spoken and written).
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to teamwork and continuous improvement
