Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Transmission CAE Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Plan, lead, and perform computer-aided simulations of transmission components and systems, focusing on strength, durability, and vibration.
Conduct analysis for both conventional and battery electric vehicle (BEV) applications.
Support project leaders and design engineers throughout all project phases with technical solutions and recommendations.
Collaborate in early-stage concept design and contribute to the development of new technologies at Driveline.
Present simulation results effectively in meetings and compile detailed technical reports.
Work both independently and within cross-functional teams to ensure simulation objectives are met.
Utilize Abaqus and ANSA as primary tools for simulation, with the potential use of additional fatigue analysis software.

What you bring:

Master of Science or higher in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Mechanics or a closely related field.
Proven experience as a simulation engineer within the automotive industry, preferably within Powertrain departments.
Proficiency in using Abaqus and the pre/post-processor tools ANSA/META for simulation tasks.
Experience with fatigue analysis tools such as nCode DesignLife or similar software is considered a strong advantage.
Programming skills in Python or MATLAB for automation and data processing within simulation workflows.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in engineering analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to present complex technical data clearly and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
